OFHC Copper(OFHC)
OFHC refers to pure copper without oxygen or deoxidizer, of which the copper content is more than 99.99% and oxygen content is less than 10ppm. It is produced by deoxidizing by C or CO2 gas in a vacuum or charcoal deoxidizing device, followed by melting and casting, which needs high purity raw material and advanced melting furnace. Is has excellent properties including all the advantages of refined copper (Touch Pitch Copper) and phosphorus deoxidized copper, high conductivity, no high temperature hydrogen embrittlement(cracks or brittleness affected by the hydrogen molecules in the metal), and good processabillity at room temperature, We control the oxygen content under 5ppm to supply a better quality OFHC copper ROD BUS BAR.
